in my opinion battles should have three parts.
Declaration
Battle
Aftermath
the declaration is just like what custard and swirlz have already done i tawnystar declares war on airclan i batstar declare war on fireclan blah blah blah
the Battle takes place in the borders which has already been decided. you fight with the opposite clan and can bring other clans in with an alliance. you can only use one charrie unless you use one on the opposite side.
the aftermath must be started by the leader it contains the injury count and casualties if their are any all cats in the battle should be in the aftermath cats can die from horrible wounds in the aftermath.
it just bugged me and i wanted to share my ideas please post what you think.

Its a good idea Pointedflower, but i dont think any cats should die unless they want to create a new character and bio, many cats worked hard on there character and bio, and unless they are willing to change it they shouldnt die.

if there are any cats shouldnt die because its against the warrior code but if they want to they can have their charrie die

Isn't that kind of how it would go anyway? I mean, obviously it's going to be declared, obviously the battle is going to happen, and obviously there's going to be aftermath. That's just how it would progress.
It's a good idea, though to me it's a little redundant.
On the note of cats dying- On other sites I've been to people often sacrifice their characters for battles. It is against the warrior code to kill, but it does and will happen. As I've said before the warrior code is a guideline on this site. Anyone may break it at any time, and as long as they're not caught by another character that cares, there will be no consequence. If people are really worried about losing their hard work they could make 'red-shirt' characters to die in battles.

If people are really worried about losing their hard work they could make 'red-shirt' characters to die in battles.Does not necessarily have to suck. Just a spare character that no one really cares enough about to keep from dying. Red shirt.
